For over ten years now we’ve hosted dozens of weddings and wedding receptions – ranging from a handful of folks to 150 – and each one has been unique. We provide day-of-the-event coordination, managing your vendors and taking care of the details so you don’t have to. While we provide some of the key ingredients, but it’s your recipe, your day, and your wedding. You can pick from more than a dozen places on our 35 acres of charming, picturesque property to have your wedding ceremony. You may prefer a grassy spot overlooking the pond or choose one of many sites around the lakes for your backdrop. You decide the perfect place at Cajun Lake Lodge. If you want to have your wedding in a church or elsewhere – and after, hold your reception at Cajun Lake –– no problem. We’ve got our 2000 square foot outdoor-indoor, roofed “Bon Ton” Pavilion ready for your reception.
Plus, you decide your own vendors for entertainment, food, drinks (and you can always bring your own alcoholic or other beverages), cake, photography, flowers, decorating, etc. We work with many and can make recommendations if you like. But you decide who you want. And we’ll handle the vendor coordination for you so that you can enjoy your wedding day.
Unlike other wedding venues whose pricing is a mystery until the moment you’re asked to sign up, our pricing is online, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions as soon as you contact us. We offer three wedding packages mainly based on a number of guests but also depending on what you need. BTW, there are no gratuity or service charges.
You choose your own beautiful outdoor location for your ceremony. We provide tables, chairs. and linens for your reception; event set up and clean up, on-site parking, facility/event coordination, etc. But here are a few other key highlights:
Outdoors with Indoor Flexibility
We are an outdoor wedding venue but also have our large open-air pavilion for your reception. The Bon Ton pavilion has huge doors on all sides that roll up so that your “indoor” setting becomes “outdoors” – and the breezes are plentiful for your parties or receptions in the Spring, Summer, or Fall. With plenty of electricity available to power a serious band(s). In the event of inclement weather¸ it’s always the back up for your ceremony if needed. At Cajun Lake Lodge we’ve always got you covered.
Your Own Private 35 Acres for Your Wedding day
You and your guests have the run of the grounds on your wedding day. You’ll be the only guest and can use any of the facilities on our property. The bride and the bridesmaids take over our Lodge for your special day, and the Groom and the groomsmen take over our Cabin. Most couples love this feature, as it provides a rush-free, private area for you to get ready for the big moment. Plus, the bride and groom can be transported from the wedding site to the reception area in one of our golf carts!
Overnight Option
If the bride and groom want to honeymoon for a night in the Lodge or the Cabin, that option is available — without leaving the property. If some of your guests want to party late and stay over, that’s another option – again without ever leaving the property. Overnight lodging is discounted for our wedding and event guests. And there are plenty of activities on the property and in the area to keep you entertained.
